If you’re The Orator, then you would rather explain things verbally, as opposed to writing.
Orators can be teachers, entertainers, storytellers, or all of the above, but either way, you find it easy to express yourself verbally.
If you had the choice between “just telling someone” something or writing a lengthy email, you’d rather “just tell them.”
You’re comfortable explaining your ideas in a small group setting and you might even be comfortable speaking in front of a large audience.
Orators can be introverts or extroverts. It’s the ability to explain your message to more than one person at a time that sets you apart from connectors.
Orators may also like being interviewed. Even though the connection with the interviewer is one-on-one, Orators are aware that there is a wider audience listening.
You love seeing peoples’ faces light up when they listen to what you share. It may be the proverbial “light bulb” that goes on or the laughter from a well-delivered joke, but either way, it’s fun to see the effect your words have on people.
